This is Leap Year, and I love it. It means I have an extra day this month to nag my husband to take out the trash.
Census Bureau officials said one of 1,461 people will celebrate his or her birthday on Leap Day, Feb. 29. And that was just counting the Kardashians.
Queen Elizabeth just celebrated her 60th anniversary as the royal monarch. When Prince Philip asked what she wanted for her anniversary, she said she wanted a younger heir.
Proper etiquette is not to speak to the queen unless she speaks to you first. So, you might not want to compliment her on her new hat. But judging from the hats I've seen her wear, I'm not sure I'd want to compliment her on any of her hats.
After being the royal monarch for 60 years, Queen Elizabeth is still a very strong woman. If you don't believe me, just feel her arm and hand waving muscles.
Back in Queen Elizabeth's princess days, she worked as a mechanic. I understand she was really good at fixing things. Maybe Congress should ask her to fix the U.S. economy.
Feb 28 is National Tooth Fairy Day. All I can say about putting teeth under your pillow to get money is, "Dentures don't count."
It's nice the Tooth Fairy takes a tooth and leaves a quarter. But due to market value, I wish she'd leave a solid gold tooth.
I was invited to a Super Bowl party last weekend. I declined because I hate bowling shoes.
I think I'd like the Super Bowl a lot more if that bowl was filled with ice cream.
