Moving to a new apartment is a pain in the neck. After moving all those heavy boxes, I know moving also is a pain in the arms, a pain in the lower back and a pain in the thighs.
I hate it when you just move and you're still unpacking so you can find everything but what you need. I've spent the past three days looking for dishes, makeup and my sanity.
All my friends volunteered to help me move. I felt so special. But on moving day, the only ones who came through were my imaginary friends.
I'm angry with my imaginary friends right now. After they helped me move, they insisted I pay them. So now I have an imaginary bank account.
Moving can be a very colorful experience. In my case, running into walls and dropping heavy stuff led to black and blue limbs with some red tossed in. My language was even more colorful.
I thought about renting a moving van. But when I got to the rental facility, the manager said, "Van quit last week."
The manager said Van was replaced by Rick Shaw. But Rick Shaw was busy at that moment moving other clients around China Town.
Parting really is such sweet sorrow. In my case, I'm feeling sorrow that I didn't part sooner from my ex-husband.
During the divorce, my husband said he wanted to be the house keeper. That should be interesting since he's a major slob.
I don't know why I expected my marriage to work. My ex-husband never did.
